Is it grammatically incorrect to say “The announcements being made in Hindi, Mark could not follow a single word” instead of “Mark could not understand a single word because the announcements were made in Hindi”?

Jaa na dhohi is a Hindi phrase and PLease someone help….I want to know the meaning of this phrase..all the meaning in this phrase..and if u can, i want to know the meaning of every word…..thank you……….love you guys!!!
