I received an unsolicited email where the sender was promoting The Mercedes-Benz cars to the people affected by economic crunch. Here is a part of the email -

In a bid to ease the living conditions of our fans/customers all over the world in this dark period of economic crunch where many companies are closing and families have lost their homes and means of livelihood.
Mercedes-Benz.DE sends you this mail with the aim of giving you the
opportunity of becoming a proud owner of the 2009 Mercedes-Benz
GL-Class GL550 and EUR300,000:00(Three Hundred Thousand Euros ) by being part of our online quiz competition.

Great offer! But what are you going to do with it even if you’re a lucky winner?

Probably arrange for some more money to meet obligatory expenses, survive the stress of additional financial burden, hope to sell it for a profit, look around for some guy with deep pockets who is willing to purchase, sell it finally, pay your debts and taxes and be content if there is any amount left at all after all these hassles.

To me this whole idea seems to be a cruel joke on the people already under severe economic burden. Instead taking control of finances and debt consolidation in particular is likely to give you a better life free of anxiety and stress.

You may not agree with me at all, or agree only partially. But benefits of being in full control of your finances will become obvious once you pay adequate attention to it.
